This past week on February 7th our Founder, Kathy, would have turned 70 years old. When she turned 50, we had a big 50s themed party, so I'm *sure* we would have had another big themed bash of some kind for her 70th.🪩🕺💜

Each year, her nieces get together to celebrate her birthday. And this year we had something special with us. Kathy's husband David dropped off a gift for us to open. It was the book "the kids" all made and gave to her for her birthday in 2009, just a few months before she passed. We all wrote letters to her about the impact she had on our lives, shared funny stories, added pictures, drawings, and a lot of laughs. It was so special to read through the book and have a Miller Lite on her birthday. 💜🎉

We hope you take the time to celebrate those you love - tell them you love them, how much they've impacted your life, and share so many laughs and stories - today, tomorrow, and even after they're gone. I might be crying just writing this post, but I'm just so thankful we all had so many good times with Aunty Kathy and that we can still share her stories, remember her laugh, and how much she loved literally everyone.

Everyone who knew Kathy, knew she loved watching the boys play basketball and bringing others to their games, especially at Tufts.
