The Food Bank of Meeker Colorado is here to help YOU when life throws a curve ball. If you are in a financial crisis, we are happy to assist with some non-perishable food items. ❤️

Realizing a debilitating crisis can happen to anyone, our goal is to be a beacon of hope in the midst of some of life’s disruptions. The goal is not a long term option but is intended to fill the gap when life throws a curve ball!
If you, or someone you know is in the midst of a hard situation, the FOOD BANK is open on Wednesdays 10-2 and other weekdays by appointment. White River Methodist Church, 809 Park Ave.

Food Bank of Meeker Colorado operates out of the White River Methodist Church located at 809 Park Ave.

The FOOD BANK will be at the Summer Festival on August 26th 11-2. Bring a non-perishable food item (with non-expired date) for extra tokens!

The Food Bank is putting together "Snack Packs" for the Backpack Program for the schools and for people passing through Meeker who come to us for food assistance.
We need:
• SNACK BARS, GRANOLA BARS, ETC.
• SMALL FRUIT CUPS
• DEHYDRATED FRUIT MIXES, FRUIT SNACKS
• INDIVIDUAL NUT MIXES
• MEAT AND CHEESE STICKS (NON-PERISHABLE), BEEF
JERKY
• ONE SERVING RAMEN BOWLS, MAC N’ CHEESE AND
SOUP CUPS, ETC.
• CRACKER/CHEESE, CRACKER/PEANUT BUTTER PACKS
• JUICE POUCHES, WATER BOTTLES, SMALL GATORADE'S
• INDIVIDUAL CEREAL PACKS/BOXES
• SMALL BAGS OF CHIPS, SNACK MIXES
• INDIVIDUAL COOKIE PACKS, LITTLE DEBBIE SNACKS
• SMALL CANS OF FRUIT & VEGETABLES WITH POP TOP LIDS.
ANY ITEMS THAT ARE INDIVIDUAL, ITEMS THAT WON’T
MELT AND HAVE A LONG “USE BY DATE”

WEDNESDAYS the Food Bank is open to the public for walk-in without appointment. Front doors are OPEN!

We are offering something NEW!! Walk-in hours 10-2 TODAY!!
Just enter Meeker United Methodist Church through the front doors during these hours to access the Food Bank. No appointment necessary!

We welcome the community as volunteers to the Food Bank!! We offer training and have different areas one can serve in! 😍

For 2022, we would like to let everyone know that our current status on "canned food" and "dry food" such as beans, lentils and rice, is over the top! If you or your organization want to help in the next few months consider:
(1) Food voucher for fresh produce or dairy products
(2) Individual snack type products such as granola, beef jerky, dried fruit.
(3) Cash to purchase meat.

Applications are available in front of the church at 809 Park Ave. There is also a box for completed applications.

If you or anyone you know could use some extra help this Christmas please don’t hesitate to come get a Giving Tree Application. Applications can be picked up at Human Services or the Methodist Church on Park & 8th. They need to be turned in by October 31st!

We have a fully supplied Food Bank right here in Meeker! If you need food, do not hesitate to call Brenda at 970-819-8584 and a box will be delivered to the back door of the church.😊💞
