Buffalo mass shooting: 911 dispatcher on leave after allegedly hanging up on Tops supermarket employee A Tops supermarket employee who survived the Buffalo mass shooting on Saturday alleged that a 911 dispatcher hung up on her while she was trying to get help, according to local reports.

We realize this is Mental Health Awareness month but why do we only set aside 30 days out of the year to highlight something that is becoming a major health crisis? Once again we hear of another heinous crime that has impacted the black community. There were 10 innocent lives taken and one of whom was simply going to buy his 3 yr old child a birthday cake. Let that sink in for a moment and think about the trauma this child and so many countless others are facing daily. The Reporter then has the nerve to ask, how did this happen???? There were very clear signs that just like in the case of Dylann Roof were overlooked. Mental Health is real and we cannot continue to ignore behaviors and signs that will continue to tear our families apart. Let’s pray for one another and encourage those that could benefit from Mental Health support. Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness, not getting the help we need is the problem and trust…….we all need help at some point in our lives and it’s totally okay!!!!
