My peppers are going crazy!! It’s amazing how much better peppers produce when they are partially shaded!! I’ve got so many Hungarian Hot Wax, Cubanelles, Banana Peppers, and Fish Peppers, I may sell some. If you’re interested please let me know.

🍅Tomatoes - Unfortunately the tops of most my tomatoes got hit by someone’s herbicide drift a few weeks ago. I have pruned them as the extension office recommended and about half of them have sprouted new healthy growth. Others will require heavier pruning before they fully bounce back.
Discounted: $10/each for the dwarf Orange Hat tomatoes, they did not get hit by the drift; $5/each if they don’t require any additional pruning; $3/each if you’re willing take a chance and prune them, so they can bounce back. I know this might seem insignificant, but I grew 5 whole radishes y’all, lol!! Root vegetables have always been my nemesis, but I tried something a little different this year and I really think the horse manure compost I got from Twisted Luck Sustainable Gardening was the key!! I am still waiting on the rest of my radishes to bulb out, but I have never gotten 5 radishes at once, and never gotten them this quick where they were still edible and not woody!! Day 1 of hardening off: All the babies got put outside today. 🍅🫑🌶️

Companion planting 101: Tomatoes and Peppers Hate Brassicas, Cucumbers, Squash, and Melons. Any plant that has high water or nutrient requirements are not good companions for tomatoes or peppers. Also, tomatoes and peppers do not like their feet wet.
