We had a blast helping with a data collection project at yesterday! The Honors Biomedical Students got a chance to see our visual motor training technology firsthand and even do some exercises of their own. This study will see the students discover the multiple ways in which the Quick Board’s neurocognitive exercises improve agility in athletes and physical therapy patients. We’re excited to see what they find!
We had a blast helping with an experiment at yesterday! Students performed some of the QB’s Neurocognitive Exercises in order to test their reaction times and their ability to choose the correct option when presented with multiple stimuli.

BROKE MY RECORD WOOT WOOT 🦾
20 seconds, all out. I love doing weekly tests to check in on elements of my overall fitness. Whether that’s tracking my time on the same hilly section of a run, mobility tests, or going all out in footwork and agility, it’s so important to know where we stand. It’s good to see improvement and humbling if there’s an area where I’m struggling.
No matter what, we’re laser focused on getting back to the courts as soon as possible. 2022 season can’t come quick enough 🔥

rounds out our iHats training system and hits on a lot of key areas of athlete development. One focus point is Proprioception, which is your body’s ability to sense movement, action, and location…Its present in every muscle movement you have. Without Proprioception, you wouldn’t be able to move without thinking about your next step!

In sports performance and performance in general, control and coordination are key to effective movement. That's why we use during our training sessions. This technology will assess not only your physical agility, but also your mental agility, which helps you avoid injury and increase your reaction time and balance.

Here is our friend Gabe working on his return to life skills after . This guy continues to defy expectations during recovery. He is putting in the work and trusting the process. Fighting to be the #1 hardest working patient (out of the current 15 ACL patients we are treating), he makes this look easy. Gabe is in Phase 3 of our ACL recovery plan: strength, agility, endurance training. Proper recovery combines biology, science, data, rest, circling back to the basics of strength and pushing your body to places we KNOW it can go. Amazing work, Gabe👊🏻

The man, the myth, the legend .alston. Listen to the sound of 153 touches in 10 seconds!
Tre still holds the Quick Board 10 second Foot Fire record with 157 touches.
During the 10 seconds, his average ground contact time was 75 milliseconds (.075).
To put this in perspective, world-class sprinters have ground contact times between 70ms - 95ms.
