It's not about the awards, but the awards are 🤌 Baby Grand took home 1 Best Of Award, 6 Gold Awards, and 1 Silver Award at the American Advertising Awards here in Memphis this past weekend. Peep some of our 2023 work for Alma del Jaguar Tequila, Buster's Butcher, and Clarity: A Design Systems Community Conference. Big thanks to clients that trust the vision, and to AAF Memphis and Pretty Useful Co for putting on a great show.

New work hitting shelves now: Alma del Jaguar Tequila is an insanely good tequila that deserved a brand matching its quality and cause: protecting jaguars in Mexico and the U.S. Logo, illustration, packaging, and web by Baby Grand. Tequila by the fine folks at NOM 1414 in Jalisco (IYKNK). Put down your celebrity tequila and drink this instead — trust us.

Brought home some hardware from the 2023 Addys ⛓️ The P33 Velocity Report won Gold for Microsite 🥇 and topped it off with a Best of Show for Interactive 🏆 Shout out to for trusting us to do something different for their first impact report (surprise: another one is in the works). And of course thanks to for a good time.

Looking back at the brand identity we created for The Present, a boutique hotel in Savannah, GA. We also created the slogan, “You are here.” to embody the brand voice and experience visitors have when stay there. Maybe to leave work and worries behind, if only for a weekend, and reconnect with something real.

The Baby Grand squad is growing. Show some love to Marilyn Bedrossian, our latest hire as Designer! Marilyn joins us from CBU and has a passion for packaging design and a keen eye in the digital world including UI/UX, animation, and design systems. Fun fact: She’s fluent in three languages and originally from Lebanon 🇱🇧.

Excited to share early creative for Anima, coming soon to Midtown, Memphis. We worked with Vice & Virtue Coffee to develop the brand identity for their new coffee & amaro bar, leaning into the soul of the morning, noon and night.

Real excited to help launch Warp, a logistics-focused tech startup out of LA. Warp came to Baby Grand on the heels of a $2.4MM seed round led by Bee Partners. We developed a new name, brand, and landing page to get them to market fast. Fun fact: you can type out their brand mark pretty much anywhere /:\

Redesigned and re-imagined. We’re excited for the launch of Overton Park 9, a 9-hole golf course in the heart of . Rebuilt by renowned golf architecture firm King Collins, we developed a brand identity for the course, taking inspiration from our natural urban setting to create a fun and memorable mark. Their new website features patterns, typography and copywriting we executed, and you’ll be able to rock even more swag we created soon. Golf for all.

It's been three whole weeks since made a virtual conference look easy. After a brand refresh and new design system, we designed an attendee gift box bursting at the seams with swag so folks could feel just a little more connected to this awesome community.
