Congratulations to Fred Lantz for your placement in the 2023 Presidents Club! Fred has been consistently on this President’s Club list since its inception. That is a huge accomplishment! Reflecting on lessons learned, Fred says relationship-building, not giving up, and being open to change are foundational. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! ♻️ Our Houston Team is doing their part by working with Houston Waste Solutions to recycle cardboard and other moving materials. This year alone they have recycled over 200 tons!

Here's 8 tips on how we keep our employees safe when working out of the warehouse to help reduce slips, trips & falls:
1. Keep floors mopped and debris swept up.
2. Remove obstacles and clutter from walkways and stairways.
3. Clean up spills immediately.
4. Secure mats, rugs and carpets that don't lay flat.
5. Keep file cabinets or storage drawers closed.
6. Cover cables that cross walkways.
7. Keep working areas and paths well-lit.
8. Wear the correct footwear.

Every year we recognize our most impactful sales producers on an annual basis. Today we want to kick it off by recognizing our top overall producer, Peter Vargus. Peter attributes this success to the culmination of years of hard work, always keeping the pipeline full, and never letting up. Thank you Peter for your dedication to Armstrong!

Today's been a special day getting to celebrate Delloyd Moffitt's retirement after dedicating 48 years to The Armstrong Company. Delloyd got started with Armstrong in 1975 and has been with us ever since. When asked why he has worked for the company so long his response was because he was treated like family here. Along with family-like treatment, Delloyd loved that the job kept him in good shape and he got to travel and see so much of the country. Delloyd plans to spend his retirement time fishing and traveling. He stated that he will miss being around his long-time friends at Armstrong but already plans to stop in and maintain these relationships for years to come.
