Big Help Day at Trinity was a heartwarming success!
On Saturday, April 20th, our vibrant community of students and families kicked off the day at Brookdale Assisted Living in Redwood City with a touching concert. The student choir and solo instrumentalists filled the air with music, leaving residents delighted and hopeful for another visit.
The spirit of giving continued at Trinity’s Early Childhood Campus, where we prepared 148 school supply kits for Kindergarten students in the Ravenswood East Palo Alto School district and assembled 140 snack kits with heartfelt cards for our troops, all set to be distributed through Operation Care and Comfort.
Our day of service continued! We sorted through 15 boxes of books destined for Achungo School in Kenya and local schools in East Palo Alto. Using the Life Moves network, we prepared a warm dinner for 120 people at a Mountain View transitional housing center.
Some of our families served a freshly made hot meal to end the day, embodying the true spirit of community and care. The energy and eagerness of our students to help left me deeply inspired, and I continually asked, “What can I do to help now?”
Thank you to everyone who made this day possible and profoundly meaningful.
