: Meet Lizbeth Lupi '12 who is now working for UC Merced to highlight our alma mater to prospective students and families.
Check out the the wonderful highlight shared by UC Merced Admissions below!
Meet Lizbeth Lupi! 🌟 As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we’re honored to spotlight this remarkable woman. Lizbeth’s journey is one of inspiration and empowerment, as she shares her experiences and insights into her impactful
work on campus. Lizbeth serves as the Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Event Operations within the Office of Admissions at UC Merced. With a decade of dedication to the university, Lizbeth’s journey began as a first-generation scholar and UC Merced alumna from the Class of 2012.
During her undergraduate years, Lizbeth immersed herself in campus life, working as an events intern for the Office of Student Involvement and as an Orientation Leader for the Bright Success Center. These experiences ignited her passion for coordinating events and welcoming students to the UC Merced community, ultimately leading her toward a career in Student Affairs. One of Lizbeth’s proudest accomplishments includes hosting Bobcat Day in 2023,
the largest open house in UC Merced’s history, where she welcomed 6,000 guests to campus. As an alumna, it was a privilege for her to showcase UC Merced’s vibrant campus community to prospective students and their families.
Throughout her journey, Lizbeth has been supported and mentored by inspiring women in her field, including Molly Bechtel, Emily Langdon, and Dr. Susana Hernandez. Their guidance and encouragement have shaped her path and
empowered her to strive for excellence continually. UC Merced has provided Lizbeth with numerous opportunities for professional growth, allowing her to serve on the Staff Assembly board and advocate for staff support on campus.
For young women embarking on a career in their field, Lizbeth offers valuable advice: Stay curious, never stop learning, and don’t hesitate to sit at the table.
Your voice matters, and you have the power to make a difference.
Join us in celebrating Lizbeth Lupi’s contributions to UC Merced and her unwavering commitment to empowering women in higher education! 🎉
