Welcome to Spring 2022, Blue Devils! The libraries in Merced and Los Baños have new hours! Merced is open M-Th from 8am-8pm, and Los Baños is open M-Th 8am-6pm. Both libraries are open 8am-2pm on Fridays. As a reminder, the libraries are closed weekends, holidays, and other non-instructional days.

The libraries in Merced and Los Baños are closed. We will open at 8am tomorrow. Please be safe!

Attention: Out of an abundance of caution, due to the high winds and numerous fallen trees on campus, Merced College will be closing all campus locations for the remainder of the evening. This includes all activities, classes, contractors, and employees working onsite. The high-wind advisory is in effect from late this evening through tomorrow morning at 5:00 AM.

You may have noticed this news in the Portal--the second floor of the library will be open on Monday! Thanks for your patience while the new research classroom was being built upstairs. The library faculty and staff worked hard during the spring semester and summer sessions to update the physical book collection and move the nonfiction, fiction, biography, children's, and young adult books around to make room for the new classroom and study spaces.
