I was so busy with the wedding, that I forgot to post this pic of my cute friend, Christine! This lady is like superwoman! She has impressed me with how much she has kept things together! In April of this year her husband fell in their home and was paralyzed. He has been at a VA hospital recovering & learning how to do life in a wheelchair. Meanwhile Christine & her crew of family and friends packed up her home so we could sell it! We looked high and we looked low to find her the perfect single level home for their family to start their lives over! This home is beautiful!!! I loved the wide entry, the extra wide space between the gas range & the island! My pictures don’t do it justice!!! It’s going to be a great home for this cute family! It was worth the wait to have it built & not buy an existing! When your “friend’s friends” become “your friend”!!! I love when I get referrals from my friends … but this situation has been heartbreaking. This little family, Christine & Wayne Hues & their 3 boys have been through so much since March. Their father fell at his home and broke his neck. He was instantly paralyzed and has very little arm movement. He has been recovering in Portland at the VA hospital and hasn’t been home in 5 months! We just sold their 2 story home so we can get their family into a wheelchair accessible home! Christine and her three boys are in an apartment until we can make accommodations on a home that will accommodate a big motorized wheelchair.

Christine has been amazing! I can’t believe how much she has done to pack up their home without her husbands help. She has been blessed with amazing family and friends, but you could only imagine the stress and burden she has had to carry. After being a stay at home mom, Christine, has had to get a job to help provide for their family, pay for hospital bills and travel to see Wayne.
