VFW Post 4000 Meridian, Idaho

All Hands on Deck! Update on the painting and packing project for post member Anne Shafer. Last Saturday we only had 5 folks help to paint her house and was only able to prep and paint 2 bedrooms. Additional assistance is needed, I believe we can get this done if we can do it through strength in numbers.
I'm trying again for this Sunday, Nov 3rd. Also, if you know of a local painter that could maybe assist us. Praying we are able to help!

Yesterday VFW Post 4000 members and friends helped with a painting and packing project for post member Anne Shafer.
She really needs more help, we were only able to paint two bedrooms and some packing in the kitchen .

This recognition comes thanks to the nomination by Tammy Clement, Sr. Master Sergeant, USAF (Ret.) and Commander of VFW Post 4000 in Meridian and was awarded by Tammy and Bob Wheeler, Sr Vice Commander/Adjutant - Navy - Post 4000.

Rev’s dedication and commitment to serving others have truly made a remarkable impact, and we couldn’t be prouder of this well-deserved accolade. His achievements are now being considered for the national award, which will be announced at the VFW National Convention next summer.

Today was the Kickoff for the care packages for Operation Blackhawk, for the deployment of the Army National Guard 183rd Aviation Unit.
We had so many people and organizations donating to this great cause! We love to support our military!!

During this event veterans are able to drive-thru and receive free groceries and household goods valued at over $500.
