Normally I’m not the kind of person to reach out and ask for help. But I am currently in a tough spot. July 5th our family vehicle burnt down in our driveway. I started the truck to get the ac going don’t would be cooled down before putting the kids in the car, went back in the house to finish getting them ready and when I walked the two oldest (4 & 1.5) the truck was up in flames. I put the kids back in the garage and yelled for my GF Kimmie Denault to call 911 and get the kids. I ran and grabbed the hose and I was able to kill the fire just as the first officer came hauling up to our house. Fire department came and made sure everything was fully out. Thank god it was a fairly quick fire but man did it do a number on our truck. We just had our third baby June 27th and I had put all our eggs in one basket with this suv getting it ready to fit our growing family. We got to enjoy the truck with the new car seats we just got. I am mostly just thankful for the timing on how it happened because the kids were not in the truck yet and a min later they would have been. Also it was still in our driveway so we had a hose and fire extinguishers close but if we were driving with the kids and my GF who just had c section surgery the fire would have got more oxygen a lot quicker and it would have been a scramble to get the kids out. Just feeling very thankful even at such a loss. I’ll attach a bunch of pictures. We need to try to figure out another bigger vehicle and we need to replace our car seats so we can make sure our kids are taken care of. Anything help and is much appreciated to help us get back on our feet asap.
