Our 1st Anniversary was a success! A night out at Porter’s Steakhouse here in STL was the perfect way to celebrate!

Megan had the special, a strip steak with shrimp scampi skewers and whipped potatoes. I had the 20oz bone-in ribeye with whipped potatoes. The wine was fantastic and so was the flourless chocolate cake to cap the night!

Happy anniversary to my beautiful, loving, and supporting wife!

It’s both hard to believe we’ve been married for a year, and hard to believe that it’s only been a year! We’ve done so much in Year 1, and I’m still so excited for what our future holds!

I love you so much, thank you for being you and always being there for me even on our worst days! You truly are my better half, .

Megan and I are expecting!

That’s right, we’re welcoming a (fur) baby into our lives in a little under 3 weeks! We are so excited for our first pet together, and this little guy is someone she’s been waiting for for such a long time!

Honeymoon Day 5 was yesterday! We visited the Mississippi Aquarium that opened up last year. For a small aquarium, there was a lot to see while we were there and even a place to touch some stingrays and other creatures.

Now that all of the craziness has settled, I finally married my very best friend in this world on Tuesday! There’s no one I’d rather spend my life with than you, Megan. I’m so glad our families have finally come together as one after 7 years of our relationship.

I’ll keep it short since I’m being rushed out of the hotel room for breakfast right now, but I’m so happy that you’re finally my wife and I still can’t believe it every time I see the ring on my finger.

It's been almost 2 weeks since he's been gone and I'm still in shock with how quickly everything happened, especially after focusing on Zeus's health so much these past few years. Almost 5 months later, we’re back at the vet. It’s now Teddie’s time to be free of his suffering. Our little fat dog became so skinny in the end as his kidneys were failing him.

Both of my boys are gone. I have no idea how to put this into words. All of his woofs begging for food is gone, the high-10s he used to give, the goofiness when you’d bat his face around. Just some of the things I’m going to miss about this dog.

Rest In Peace, Teddie. We’ll meet again some day, I hope you have lots of fun with Zeus in the meantime. I know you’ve been missing him a lot, as much as we will for both of you. ❤️

Since I was a little boy, I’ve dreaded the day that I would lose my best friend. After 16.5 years full of love, today the little boy lost his best friend.

I love you so much Zeus, and I’m so sorry that I couldn’t feel your pain for you. Your bones were hurting and your mental state was declining for years.

But you were always there for me, whether it was a hard day at school, or a hard day at work in your older years.

I’m in so much pain not only for you but for your brother, Teddie and your loving family that you’re leaving behind.

You and Teddie are the best dogs that have ever lived, and I’ll never have a bond like that again. I’m at peace knowing that you’ve lived such a full life spanning 3 different decades.

Until we meet again, my very best friend. I hope you’ll wait for me on a bench up there much like we sat on here on your last day.

I am extremely happy to have my new 2K machine! This thing is the size of a VCR and looks ridiculous on my TV stand but it’s insanely fast.

Also shoutout to Gamestop for not screwing up my in-person pre-order like I feared for the last 8 weeks.

And of course, RIP to one of the GOATs! Glad I got the steelbook of what could possibly be the last Kobe cover.

Another year with my other half. What a crazy year it’s been since I asked you to marry me one year ago tonight. We began working with each other (a blessing during the most stressful days) and making our way through a global pandemic and being infected together at one point.

I couldn’t imagine going through this year with anyone else. I can’t wait for everything to return to normal and us to finally get married.
