The ARCHIVES. As this next wedding season comes upon us I’m reflecting on some of the cool things I’ve gotten to do while here in AZ. I’m grateful that with moving to a new state I still get to have a creative job more of the time. Loved this shoot I got to do with last summer

Happy Sunday!
School starts this week and it’s so insane how fast these kids grow. This photo is from early spring and my eldest is now in 1st grade😭 if you saw the selfie yesterday at all on my stories you can see just how precious time is.

I complain about my job at times( even though I love it) but I’ll never take for granted how much a part of my kids life I’m able to be!

Anyway, just dropping in to say Happy Sunday and maybe, stop and smell the flowers, find a few things that you’re grateful for even if it’s been hard. I’m here for you, with you if you need me✌🏾

PRO TIP: Make sure you spend time together on your wedding day. Even if you only carve out 15-20 minutes to just be together without all the guests and the noise of the day to just take each other in for a moment, I promise it’ll likely be your favorite part of the night.

Throwing it back to one of my favorite shoots to date.

Let’s Talk Lighting!

My client today is wearing the same outfit, at the same and photos are taken within 5-10 minutes of each other. The only difference is:

1. where I have her seated
2. The lighting

In photo 1. I am front facing with a white, daylight, about 2 feet away on full luminance. This gave me a chance to really see my work up close and work more diligently. Be more detailed and ultimately give my best work.

Photo 2 was taken in a corner with overhead lighting and my portable .official light on warm setting and on about 82% luminance. This gave the photo a more sultry look and ultimately a moodier feel.

To book clients I’d likely post photo one for marketing. The be creative I’d pick photo 2. Which do you like? She’s beautiful in both of course🥰

Now that I fully settled here and it feels more like home I’m definitely going to get back into creative direction and planning more creative beauty shoots! It’s almost summer so I wanted to reintroduce myself to you all!

The page is mostly for “professionalism” and my stories is where you see my personality show through more. - when I was younger I wanted to be a Linguistic Anthropologist
- I have an associate of Arts degree and a Bachelors degree in Organizational leadership
- I have been in this industry 10 years this Fall😱😱
- I’ve been with my partner, Brytton, for 13 years and we have 2 lively toddler girls that keep us busy.
- When I’m not working, I’m reading, sleeping or doing something to replenish my energy because 👇🏾
- I have a rare autoimmune disorder called Hemolytic Anemia
- Mostly I read but when I do watch TV it’s almost ALWAYS Eastern and not western Dramas ( K-Dramas, C-Dramas and Thai dramas are my jam. And no, I don’t watch the Dub’s I read subtitles).

What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?!

I’m grateful for my family. Those of you that don’t know me I have a little family of 4 here in AZ. 2 toddler girls( 4&6) and a sweet husband that all keep me insane( yes insane not sane) and buzzing like a busy bee😂

Today I’m grateful for them. It’s never dull in my house and we’re all very animated individuals so there will always be laughs.lol
