ECM Consultants, Inc. sponsored the Louisiana Transportation Partners Benefit Golf Tournament hosted by Louisiana Engineering Foundation.

I was proud to join Councilwoman Jennifer Van Vrancken, along with our Public Works team, for a ceremony today to officially break ground on the new Veterans Boulevard Pump Stations. The construction of two new drainage pump stations will improve flood control in the Metairie area, near the 17th Street canal.

As 2022 nears to an end we want to take this opportunity to wish everyone happiness, peace and prosperity for the new year!

We also want to extend our appreciation to all of our employees for their hard work, dedication and contributions. While many excelled at their position and contributed to ECM’s success, we would like to highlight a few standouts for 2022.

ECM is looking for an Administrative Assistant

Responsible for front desk coordination, answering and transferring phones, opening and distributing mail, scheduling meetings and other executive administrative tasks and maintaining office supplies and equipment list.

Orders supplies per employee's request and/or as needed.
Maintains employee certification list.
Assists management in compiling periodic and special reports.
Receives and routes incoming mail, and initiates replies in routine and non-technical correspondence not requiring the attention of other personnel.
Assists with projects in all departments as necessary.
Manages front desk, answers and transfers calls, takes messages and resolves problems that can be answered from knowledge or reference.
Arranges appointments for Senior Management, maintains schedule, and keeps appropriate manager informed of appointments, meetings, conferences, etc.
Utilizes office automation systems and software at a personal computer and workstation terminal in the performance of duties.

Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Software
Written and oral communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.

Late last week, ECM sponsored a hospitality tent on Hole number 13 for the Louisiana Engineering Society's 3rd Annual LA Transportation Partners Golf Tournament. The event was held at Carter Plantation Golf Course, and proceeds are going to the LEF Scholarship Fund.

This was a fun filled weekend for our ECM Team! ECM hosted its annual (finally back from pandemic!) crawfish boil!

Yesterday, ECM Consultants hosted a "Farewell, and Welcome to Retirement" party for our own, Ms. Marilyn Zoller. Marilyn as been with ECM for 19 years, and has worked in almost all the various departments. Starting in a secretary position, and working her way up to Payroll Manager.

This was a busy week for ECM employees, and their mini ’mascots’!

Our Marketing & Proposal Coordinator, Bridgette, welcomed her second child, and the newest ECM mascot to her family - Brooke Crisler was a month early and weighed in at 5 , measuring 18”!

Our Baton Rouge office hosted a shower to honor the next ECM mascot that is due to Blake Guidry, and his wife Ali, on Christmas Day! We can’t wait to meet baby Guidry.

Please help our Metairie office in welcoming a new Engineering Intern (and licensed Land Surveyor)! Matthew is a graduate of LA Tech University and comes to us from Modjeski & Masters, as a Field Engineer. Matthew will help with CAD and on engineering projects. Welcome aboard Matthew!

Nothing like a little coworker love for Halloween. Today our Metairie office celebrated the holiday with a potluck and by dressing in costumes! Have a spooktacular Halloween weekend!
