Even a little rain can't dampen our Field Day spirit! Thanks to Coach Casey's exceptional planning and the invaluable support of our dedicated teachers and parent volunteers, our students are fully immersed in a fantastic array of Field Day activities! The Order of St. Louis IX was established in 1965 to honor those members of the laity who have made outstanding contributions of their time and talent to the Church. It is one of the most cherished awards presented in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
This year’s St. Benilde recipients of the award were Tom and Audrey Huck. Unable to make the celebration with Archbishop Gregory Aymond, the Hucks were given their award by Fr. Matthew Johnston this past Sunday following the 11AM Mass. We are thankful to the couple for their dedicated service to St. Benilde parish.
We have been embracing the SBS IRISH SPIRIT all week at St. Benilde School!
🍀Monday kicked off with Day, showcasing our school colors.
🍧Tuesday brought Louisiana Spirit Day with a sweet surprise - snowballs and sunny recess fun!
