The insurrection that occurred on January 6th, 2021 at the US Capitol was a disgrace. It is certainly not the values ,morals and the belief systems we embrace. Racial tensions are high, political parties are polarized and the current basic human rights movements are tenuous. We aspire our flag to bring hope and positivity to all people, with intentions of it rejecting vicious radical ideology, negativity and violence. Our flag strives to unite the people of America. A flag that celebrates , honors and respects America’s diversity of all races, religions, s*xual orientations, s*x, gender identities, and all nationalities. We believe, as Americans and as people, we are able to all coexist peacefully despite our political differences. With our flag, individuality is embraced , equal opportunity is present, the disenfranchised is empowered & the marginalized have access to necessary resources.We aspire our flag to reject hate,violence, and aggression amongst people. We encourage Americans and all people to educate, communicate effectively, debate, and have respectful dialogue where information can be exchanged and learned. No one is perfect; I surely am not, but we can all try to be open minded, listen to each other,create positive change &coexist in a world full of variety, color,&personality. We’ve been through so much during this pandemic &now we need to unify and not give in to the negativity that mainstream media fuels.Our flag is aimed to inspire to disassemble systematic racism, classism, s*xism &all unjustified acts with nonviolence and education; an attempt to reprogram &rewire the thought processes that feeds into such injustices.This is all a work in progress. About SPICE MIAMI
SPICE MIAMI will be producing a three-day le***an-centric festival for women in Miami Beach at the gorgeous 1950’s-themed hotel, The Confidante Miami Beach in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, on Friday, July 31st, 2020 through Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. Performance artists, sports influencers, comedians, dancers, social media influencers, celebrity hosts, local and national DJ’s, vendors, and sponsors will all be contributing to giving our women access to the best music, food, and art experience. In addition, mental health services, women's health and wellness services will also be a focus during the festival, particularly GYN services, education and promotion of mammograms, pap smears, HIV/STD/STI testing, LGBTQ culture, nightlife activities, and the community, all within a safe space. Beach activations include games such as volleyball courts, bocce ball, bean bag co****le games, IV Hydration tents, VIP beach beds, hammocks, and cooling fans. We have two fully-equiped bar huts selling premium & top shelf liquor. We offer bottle & VIP service and food on the beach as well. The festival will be giving the le***an community an outlet to socialize, dance, bond, and get active within the Miami Beach community. The beach health fair portion will have Florida’s Department of Health of Miami-Dade County’s Office of Preventative Medicine as a special guest. They will create an educational and interactive space designed to promote wellness and education on basic preventive medicine and medical screening for women in our community.
At the gorgeous host hotel, The Confidante by Hyatt, we will be producing a beach party on August 1st 2020 and a pool party August 2nd 2020. There are many more events and surprises to come!
