That one time I got over my fears and it was SO worth it….

Here’s what I do to prepare when I’m onboarding a client in a completely new industry ⬇️

🎉 Send my questionnaire! This goes out to all new client but has several industry related questions to get my clients own perspective on their industry.

🎉 Research competition. Doing this is helpful for a number of reasons, but it always gives me great insights into an industry!

🎉 Search through leading informative websites of that industry. For the wedding industry, I would go up and down a popular website like WeddingWire to learn more!

There’s a few more steps that go into getting to know a new industry, and it’s definitely a part of the job I don’t take lightly. Being able to accurately represent every industry I work with is important to me.
