I can still hear her voice; at once calm and stern, kind and caring, in pain and in joy, exuded confidence with every word and every step, self-reliant, generous to a fault, loved without reserve. So much more depth to the woman I was fortunate enough to have as my mother. We fought, yes, but I know understand why. It was all a lesson in strength and how to become the independent woman she molded me to be. Thank you mother for being the perfect role model for me. 💕 RIP 8/3/23
