So walk up, run up, jog up, scoot up, skate up, ride up, bike up, get a lift from friend up and if you have to uber up - call ahead. You can even do that online ordering thing.

That is a damn good pizza. Easily one of, if not the best, traditional gas oven pizzas I've eaten in Florida, ever... Better, crunchier crust. Grade A. No complaints. Our Story

Pizza Tropical is the result of a collaboration between two well-respected entrepreneurs: Frank Pinello, owner of Best Pizza in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (and host of Viceland series "The Pizza Show") and Adam Gersten, owner of Gramps bar in Wynwood, Miami.

Pizza Tropical offers Frank's signature Brooklyn-style pizza - simple, classic recipes with the finest ingredients. Incorporating the quirky Gramps vibe, the pizza is served from a Cuban-style ventanita (walk-up window) wrapped in bright colors and fun graphics.

Looking out on Gramps' outdoor patio, the window's proximity to the festivities is a plus. You can dance, talk, drink, do whatever and quickly grab a slice without missing a beat.

Pizza Tropical is located inside the yard at Gramps (Wynwood) and is open from 11am daily to very very late. Pizza is served whole or by the slice; wings, fries & garlic knots also available. Take out, dine in, or delivery.
