Nest is a temporary emergency shelter for the LaPorte County area providing shelter and food.
Faith base NFP providing emergency shelter for the homeless men and women in LaPorte County.

This Tuesday, November 14th at 11:30am we will be officially celebrating our name change to Nest. This plaque will sit at the entrance to our men's floor in dedication and as a long lasting reminder of the service, love and dignity given to our residents.

We would like to thank our friends and community partners for their donations of time and goods to make our Propagation party a success. Duneland landscape donated a yard of dirt and one of mulch, Sandi Keller donated 30 landscape blocks and lots of plants from her flower beds. Our friends from LCN and a few more donors made this event a success. We want to thank everyone for their time and talents. If you think it looks nice now, wait until spring.

This is our friend Joe Mcdonald, who believed in our program, worked and saved, attended every class and is moving into his new apartment tomorrow. He volunteered for every chore, made friends with other guests and had a stellar attitude. Joe will be missed but we are so proud of him.
Bomba Sock chose us as the Organization that they wanted to distribute their socks through and they sent us 3000 pairs to start. We distributed them through agencies in Laporte County that help with homeless issues. Here Harry, with Joseph Bunch, is donating 800 pairs of socks to the MCAS for them to hand out to students in need. Thank you Bomba and thank you MCAS.
