Join us for Popcorn and a Movie, Monday, Dec 18th at 1pm. We'll be showing “The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel”. Since we were unable to show this movie in November, we will show it in December but still In honor of Veterans Day. It is the remarkable true story of a German amateur violinist who became a reluctant soldier in Hitler’s army and defied overwhelming odds to not only survive World War II, but to become a US Government agent. Then, after immigrating to Ohio, he begins a 25-year career with a small company owned by Orthodox Jews. Peter Ertel, 95 at the time of filming, tells his own incredible and inspiring life story. This is an unprecedented film narrative of that historic period, which has newfound relevance to our current times. Rated PG-13 for content, language, thematic elements. Sponsored by Life Care Center
