A HUGE thank you to the 25+ companies that spoke to students during the rountable sessions. We can’t wait for the “try it” sessions this afternoon!

LPCCTE Machining Students on the Sullivan Paletek Tour
Mr. Nate Fisher and his associates from Williams Dedicated visited the Automotive Technology Class at the A K Smith North Campus yesterday to show students some of the many opportunities in the Heavy Truck industry.
Students and their instructor Mr. Steve Barnes got to spend time with a 2025 Kenworth T680, a brand new, state-of-the art truck. The Williams crew went over the truck from front to back, showing students the engine, cockpit controls (with a SUPER comfy air ride seat), and much more. Students also got a chance to try some of the tools used in modern truck shops including a HUGE impact gun and torque wrench for removing and tightening wheel nuts.
Williams Dedicated even donated shirts for the students to look professional in the Automotive Shop. A big thanks to Nate and his team for taking the time to give our students such a fun opportunity for the day!
ALL THINGS HEALTH @ LPCCTE

Elementary Teacher of the Year
Secondary Teacher of the Year
Support Staff Employee of the Year

Anyone – students, former students, parents, staff, or community members – may nominate a teacher or staff member. There is no limit to the number of employees a person may nominate.
To learn more about eligibility and the selection process, and to nominate a teacher or staff member, visit http://educateMC.net/toy_eoy

Paper nomination forms are also available at any MCAS school or facility. Please complete a separate form for each nomination.
Nominations are due by Friday, November 22, 2024.
