This is in the best interest of our Texas students.

MISD has set a North Star Goal of having 70% of students in the district attending an A or B-rated campus by 2028. Through its annual school planning, the district has laid out a road map with actionable steps that will lead to the success of this goal.

Analyze and explain quantitative information, including statistical analysis. Are we achieving these objectives? Are we providing the necessary training to develop these essential skills with all students?

STEM is great, but you can make a great living in the fine arts. Don't waste your time with advisors making you choose a "career path" in seventh grade.

👉Only FOUR of TEN 8th graders can read that passage
👉LESS than TWO of TEN 8th graders know what it is.
For $1.415 Billion Dollars the math doesn’t add up. But, hey…. only 35% of our 8th graders are even meeting math standards.

I did not vote for this. Either we have a standard, or, there is no standard. Board passed it.
Midland ISD updates no pass, no play exemption list MISD Board of Trustees approved the course exemption list to the "no pass, no play" rule for the 2024-25 school year.
MISD Central Office and Campuses are closed during the week of July 1-5. Summer hours will resume on July 8. Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

[Early College High School at Midland College (ECHS) has been named a “STAR” campus, while both Carver Center and the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) have been designated as “Scholar” campuses.]
