Dear Church Family,

I'm sure many, if not all, of you have heard about what happened today in Pennsylvania. An attempted assassination of a former or sitting president is a shocking event and one that causes a great amount of fear and anger.

We, as Christians, are a people of peace and prayer. Neither shall we fear, and neither shall we resort to anger. Instead, we shall love our neighbor and pray for those affected by this sinful act. No one, let alone a political candidate, deserves to be subjected to violence outside the jurisdiction of the law.

Please pray with me for president Trump, for his family, and those who are otherwise affected. Please also pray with me for our current administration. Please pray that others who may harbor ill will toward any of the potential candidates may be persuaded to hold any and all rash actions they may be entertaining. Lastly, please pray for a great move of God in the hearts and minds our country: both for a barring of any further violence, and a plea for the hearts and minds of the lost for Christ.

Furthermore, our men's prayer breakfasts will be postponed until October.

Dear Church Families,

As you may know, our children and youth activities are not taking place tonight. However, we are still having our regular prayer meeting and Bible study. We would love for you to join us, kids included, tonight at 6:30!

Church family, out of an abundance of caution we will be canceling our services tonight. The weather seems a little unpredictable and we want to make sure everyone stays safe. Even if the weather holds off and it remains fair, take that time to enjoy your family and to read and discuss God's word together!

Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds."

We hope you will join us this Palm Sunday, March 24th, as we celebrate Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. What would become the "beginning of the end" to the earthly ministry of Jesus means much to us, and it means a lot to you as well!

We provide children's church and nursery every Sunday, and have recently begun offering coffee and fellowship.
