Immediate Blasting Technicians Needed in Milwaukee!
Hours: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $19.95-21/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
• responsible for preparing and cleaning surfaces by blasting them with various types of abrasive materials such as sand, glass beads, and aluminum oxide.
• Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating
• Mix and adjust the air and abrasive flow in the blasting machine
• Load and unload materials to be blasted.
• Clean and maintain the blasting equipment and related tools
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with the blasting equipment
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and any issues that may arise
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:
• Covid Vaccination Card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in blasting or related field preferred
• Knowledge of the different types of abrasive materials and how to properly use them
• Familiarity with blasting equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills

* Handles all incoming and out going paperwork while using AS400-Based or PRMS system.

- Pack products in trained production areas with manual, automated or semi-automated packaging lines in order to meet customer requirements.

- Participate in active, fast paced team environment, contributing to all production metrics including resin loss reduction.
- Sustain 6S program in the production cells, supporting team members and reporting repeat variation to leadership.

QPS Milwaukee is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Lead in the Oak Creek area -

8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

General Responsibilities & Position Purpose:

Process Domestic and International shipments using various shipping software and systems such as UPS World Wide Ship software, FedEx online, and DHL. Prepares proper paperwork and documentation for International shipments.

Primary Duties:

- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments

Experience Required:

- Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, Domestic, and INTL systems
- (Enterprise resource planning) ERP Experience
- Experience with Air and Sea Freight logistics and customs clearance
- Forklift a Plus, but not required

This role is primarily responsible for unloading parts at the Laser machine, grinding and finishing metal parts, sorting and counting order quantities. The Production Helper may be assigned to any department to assist in meeting the needs of production.

Primary Duties:
Unloading parts off of the machine
Grind and finish metal parts
Sort and count order quantities
Data entry and basic computer functions
Select correct hand tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance. Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.

2nd shift – 3-11:30pm – M-F.
Experience: 1-5 years of experience.

- This position requires the set up and operation of one or more manual and/or numerically controlled vertical and turning machining centers.
- You will use your expert knowledge to set up and operate machines that are capable of forming, polishing, bending, and cutting raw metal into finished parts.
- The work is performed in a cellular production environment requiring machinists to run one or more machines - Run production parts in an efficient manner to achieve targets set by management.
- Correctly use precision measuring equipment and gauges in order to produce quality parts within approved tolerances.
- Find and use programs and other electronic documents, including making minor edits to CNC programs (such as speeds, feeds, offsets, x and z movements, etc.).
- Remove burrs on components created during machining.
- Work with engineers to improve processes, tooling and programs (as directed by management).
- Correctly use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and follow company safety policy.
- Participate in SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, and cost) meetings.
- Perform material handling and inventory control for product in designated area.
- Provide training and instruction to other employees (as directed by management).
- Maintain manual and electronic records. - Conduct TPM (total preventative maintenance).
-Perform floor maintenance, general housekeeping, chip removal, and the disposal of garbage

Knowledge utilizing the following information and equipment:
- Data terminals and personal computers. - Handbooks, charts, manuals, specification sheets, operation sheets, setup sheets.
- Measuring (quality) equipment including but not limited to gauges, calipers, micrometers, scales, indicators and other items necessary to complete the manufacturing of parts.
- Manual and power hand tools.
- Stand-up and sit-down fork lifts.
- Able to read blueprints, including knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) system.
- Knowledge of G&M program codes.
- Math skills (equations, formulas, fractions, etc.).
- Some knowledge of PC’s or other types of electronic equipment that may be needed for timekeeping, labor time collection, job tracking or any other types of automatic data collection.

- Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines containing several cutting heads, control surfaces or other attachments (i.e. inkjet and mailing devices, case making & decorating equipment, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines and/or set up automatic bindery machines containing multiple functions and station capabilities (power paper cutters, power collators and gatherers, power folders, power speed binder) which can be electromechanically combined with other equipment and devices to produce a complete bindery and finishing unit that processes printed sheets into final books, catalogs, manuals, directories, magazines or other completed products.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues.
- May operate automatic adhesive binding machines (perfect binders) that contain numerous interrelated process stations that are fed collated sheets or signatures and perform such functions as vibrating, milling, roughening, gluing, covering and delivering or stacking completed books, magazines or catalogs.
- Make needed adjustments to coordinate the multiple work stations on a single machine.
- Direct crew though all aspects of production. Monitor quality, output and productivity.

- The Folder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating folder to slit, and score printed sheets into signatures for binding and/or operating, according to Post Printing Quality System Procedures and Work Instructions.

• Monitor and record final part count on project ticket.

• Deliver completed project to next operation.
• Direct equipment helpers.
• Maintain established checkpoints and procedures throughout run.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Schedule: 9AM-5PM

- Review electronic files that are received from clients and check them for thoroughness and completeness in advance of the plate making process. Using electronic page layout software (desktop publishing software) manipulates the format of the print job to the dimensions of the paper.
- Determine page layout, accounting for folds, trims, bleeds and gripper, and add crop marks and color bars as necessary.
- Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to the CSR, customer and production personnel.
- Work directly with CSR, customer, and production personnel as necessary to work out any problems with the job.
- Load customer supplied electronic files for output, onto the Pre-Press and Blind operators during the manufacturing process.
- May prepare color proofs for customer review. May impose images and operate CTP plate making equipment and bending/tabbing equipment to prepare plates for press.
- Perform quality checks on finished plates before releasing to manufacturing.
- Must be able to work with various graphic design and layout software applications commonly used on Mac's and PC's. A thorough understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from different operating systems (Mac and PC) is required.

- Replenish stock, ink and any other consumables associated with the production of a job.
- Assist with wash up procedures and preventative maintenance as required.
- Deliver completed job to next operation.

- Perform press make-ready and run operations in the absence of the operator or as otherwise assigned

- As a Press Operator, you will set-up, adjust, operate, and maintain a press to print single-color, two-color, and/or multi-color work. You will review job specifications to determine the press setup and perform all make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, examining plates and cylinders for imperfections, etc.
- You will make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production to meet the quality specifications of the work.
- You will also clean, lubricate, make minor repairs, replace parts, and perform periodic preventative maintenance.
