Entertainment Highlight! 🎶

Find at Fashion Fest MKE on September 15th. Music will be playing from noon-6pm, with fashion shows at 2pm and 4pm.

The event is free and open to the public, with runway seating available for purchase through Eventbrite.

📣Designer Shoutout!

In her teenage years, Bokuli developed a fascination with cutting and sewing. This started with building a wardrobe for her rag doll and her childhood friends’ rag dolls. This grew her passion and curiosity for the power of fashion. Because of this, she studied fashion design and graduated Mount Mary University in Spring of 2024.

She is passionate about bringing innovative concepts to life through clothing, and is excited to bring fresh ideas and a passion for positive change.

At Summer Jameson each item is handmade. The order is customized to fit your unique measurements and give you the freedom to personalize each design to your taste.

This business journey was embarked on by offering Ready To Wear garments with customizable sizing options. However, Summer Jameson discovered that her true passion lies in women’s formal wear. Her aspiration is to establish a brand that prioritizes creativity, introducing innovative techniques and styles, and highlighting her artistic vision. Whether it involves dedicating over 100 hours to intricate beading or exploring innovative ways to incorporate LED lights into bodices, the designs have truly flourished under this fresh direction for the brand.

Meet

Gigi Wagener has always been interested in fashion. In 2017 she attended Mount Mary University. During her time there, she received many awards including; Most Marketable and Stand-Out Construction. Wagener teaches on upcycling at the Mount Mary Fashion Academy Summer Camp. This is her third year showcasing at Fashion Fest. This year she will feature her collection: Opposites Attract. This collection compares the purity of white and the darkness of black. It uses upcycled materials.

Fashion Fest MKE is a place for family fun! 🤩

While at Fashion Fest MKE on September 15th, check out the Kids Design area!

Activities will include a fashion illustration station, jewelry making, and an activity led by Renaissance Threads.

The design area will be open from 12-6pm, with the exceptions of breaks from 2-2:30 and 4-4:30.

Kids are invited on July 27th from 11am-noon for the Fashion Fest MKE casting call, in collaboration with Milwaukee Fashion Week. ✨

The full casting is from 9am-noon for adults and kids will have an opportunity to participate during this hour. We are looking for children ages 5-13 during this time. All ages above can participate in the full casting.

No preregistration needed! Parents must accompany children at all times. We hope to see you there!
