This weekend we had our Golden Wheels celebration, celebrating the end of our 2023 season! We rung in the new year, recognized our newest skaters, ate a great cake made by one of our own skaters (Thanks, Cherry!), and awarded our golden wheels winners!
We had such a great 2023 and we are so excited for 2024!

Some of our newest skaters spent the snowy morning down at a scrimmage with Root River Rollers! We're so excited to see where the season takes us and glad we're already off to a fun start!

Today is Transgender Remembrance Day, an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
BCB wants to honor those whose lives have been lost and well as all transgender individuals.
We see you and support you whether you have the ability to be out or not. You are valid and valued.
Along with WFTDA, BCB is "committed to inclusive and anti-discrimination practices" and welcomes all transgender women, intersex individuals, and non-binary and gender expansive participants at all levels and ways of involvement and BCB will continue to work on being a safe space for the trans community.

We were happy to host Team Wisconsin Roller Derby for a practice and scrim this morning before they head off to Mitten Kitten Mash-Up X next weekend!
Help us wish them luck as they take on Team Maryland on Friday night at 7CT!
