Every Thursday night is trivia night with America's Pub Quiz at Von Trier! We’ll be annoying the neighbors tonight by running trivia out on the patio!

And we’ve been listening, we KNOW you all have been missing our a schnitzel plates, so Chef has brought one back for a limited time! We want to give a huge shout out to Hunter and his people over at Duvel & Chouffe for stopping by yesterday and partying! Hunter had a meeting with the gnomes in charge over there and put in a good word for us, and now we’re really excited and proud to be the first bar in the WISCONSIN to have LA CHOUFFE on draft!!! It’s one of our favorite beers and we’re so hapy to be able to taste it fresh off our beer lines.

The gnomes of Fairyland are particularly fond of this golden beer. LA CHOUFFE, with its slight hoppy taste, combining notes of fresh coriander and fruity tones, is the drink which gives them their zest for life. At least, that's what these imps say when they are thirsty. Their secret used to be jealously guarded from one generation to the next until the day they shared the recipe with humans to seal their friendship.

If you’ve been here at open anytime during the last 45 years, you might have seen Bob occupying his usual spot at the bar for a brandy sweet (or three). He had his first legal drink in this bar back when it was Rieders, and has been coming here ever since. He’s always good for a story, a laugh, and a bit of wisdom.
