Cooper Warner graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2021. She is passionate about elder law and providing legal representation to underserved populations. Prior to law school Cooper graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she majored in journalism with a minor in politics. In her free time she is a board member at the Bay View Community Center and enjoys working on her novel.

We are excited to announce that Attorney Susan Scott has joined our team!

Susan is an experienced Attorney with a demonstrated history of working in the legal services industry. Susan is skilled in all areas involving Family Law: Custody, Placement, Paternity, High-Conflict Divorce, Mediation, Guardian Ad Litem by Court Appointment, Legal Research and Writing, Trials, and Guardianships.

Prior to joining La Fleur Law, Susan was a Family Court Commissioner for 3 years, before she began her own practice. Susan received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School and her undergrad in Psychology from UW-Milwaukee.

In her spare time Susan enjoys reading, drawing, photography, collecting antique books and mineral specimens, traveling, and trying to become fluent in French.

We are happy to announce that Sean La Fleur has joined our team as a paralegal. Sean is a social worker who is bringing his skills of compassion and analysis to his paralegal work at the firm. Sean has a Bachelor of Social Work from UWM, graduating in 2016, and has worked in multiple roles for Milwaukee County social service agencies.

Sean is joining the firm while taking a break from pursuing his master’s degree in social work at UWM and is looking forward to new experiences in a new field. Welcome, Sean!

Last week Catherine La Fleur and Grace Tressler attended the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) Annual Meeting in Baltimore. This was Grace’s first conference and they both had a wonderful time connecting with other attorneys and companies who share a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Yesterday Nick Wanic was honored to speak at Grafton High School’s career day. Nothing beats getting an opportunity to share a little bit of our journey to the next generation.

A day we'll never forget. We continue to honor all those impacted in the 9/11 attacks, along with the many rescue and recovery workers who came to the aid of those in need.

Today Catherine and friends from LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Milwaukee participated in the 2nd Annual Drive for Freedom with Take a Vet Fishing. It was a great day giving back to those who serve our great nation every day. 🇺🇸

We are so excited to announce that Grace Tressler has joined our team as an attorney. Grace graduated from Marquette University Law School in May. During law school, Grace gained practical experience interning and completing summer fellowships in children’s court and with civil legal aid organizations in the Milwaukee area. Throughout her coursework at Marquette, Grace earned CALI awards for the highest grade in her Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research class as well as her Trial Advocacy workshop. Grace will be focusing on civil litigation and family law.

In her free time, Grace loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with family and friends. Welcome, Grace!
