It was our honor to hand over this check to for over 21k raised by all of you at Glassroots Asheville this past October!
Beads of Courage will use these funds to launch a new program for adolescents coping with cancer and other serious illnesses. This Touch for Strength Program will feature a power pendant that will serve a tangible, wearable art piece to accopany mindful meditations and related touch words designed to alleviate stress and anxiety in adolescents in a fight for life. This program was developed by a young cancer survivor and Beads of Courage is thrilled to be able to put it into action to support young adults in a powerful way. Thank you to the entire Glassroots family, our sponsors, our buyers, our artists, and our volunteers for being a part of giving back to children all across the country! Special shoutout to for opening their space for the flameworking event and to for hosting our charity auction party!
