As the new year quickly approaches, we are preparing for another amazing year caring for you and your dental health. We are updating two of our policies and procedures within our office beginning January 1st, 2023. We may ask you to review and sign new policy documents at your next appointment with us.

• Our Financial Policy has been updated for 2023. It is important for us to continue offering reasonable service rates while still providing you with high quality care. In order to keep costs reasonable, we are striving for efficiency in payment – both from your insurance company and you, our patient. We have been working diligently to find more efficient ways to determine your level of insurance benefits and process claims on your behalf quicker and with more accuracy. Beginning January 1st, 2023, your estimated portion of payment will be due on the day service is rendered if services are not covered at 100% by your insurance. An estimate of benefits will be provided to you either in-office, or a prior authorization request will be sent to your insurance company. If there is a discrepancy in what we anticipate your insurance to cover and their actual coverage, you will receive either a statement in the mail or a refund check the following billing cycle.

• In 2022, you may have noticed our appointment confirmations have changed. This is in an effort to ease scheduling and keeping appointments with our office. We will be updating your contact information at your next appointment to ensure the correct information is on file. Please note, your safety and privacy are of our utmost concern, and we will never sell or disclose your information to anyone.

Update on Baby B!
As you may know, Dr. B and his partner, Emily, are adding to their Hive in early 2023! If you have an appointment scheduled in early 2023, please note your appointment may be rescheduled due to Baby B’s arrival. In anticipation, we have slimmed down our scheduling during those months to aide in less appointment reschedules for our patients, but please be patient with us as we are on Baby B’s time. Thank you so much for your understanding!
