Minnesota Twins bat boys Richard and Peter King, 1961. The twin brothers were selected from auditions held by the team. Another set of Twins were brought on as ball boys. The King brothers would later appear on an episode of the television series "To Tell the Truth" in which a celebrity panel grilled them with questions to determine which of three sets of twins were the actual Twins bat boys.

The speeches are written, the emotions are building and the stage is being set for the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Glaucoma cut Kirby Puckett’s incredible career short as the Minnesota Twins outfielder announced his retirement in 1996.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame five years later, he said, “It may be cloudy in my right eye, but the sun is shining very brightly in my left eye.”
