Indigenous voters in Minnesota should feel confident using their tribal ID for Election Day registration Native people who are citizens of one of 11 federally recognized tribal nations in Minnesota can use their tribal ID, which is issued by their tribal government, to register to vote in-person.
Join us on November 21, 2024, for the premier of Indigenous State of Mind: A Mental Health Awareness Film presented by Little Earth Boys & Girls Club. This short film was created by Club members and staff from the Little Earth Club for the purpose of raising awareness for mental health, giving Indigenous people a voice to be heard, and challenging all people to speak about their struggles and seek out the proper support to become more healthy individuals for the sake of our communities.
Following the 20-minute film, this event will feature a panel discussion with Little Earth Club members and community leaders about the specific mental health challenges faced by Indigenous communities.
This event is free to attend, but registration is required.

It is time again for the Fall Feast Basket Giveaway!
You must be signed up to receive a basket. You can sign up by coming in person during food shelf hours, or by calling the food shelf and leave your first and last name, birthdate, and phone number. If you do not receive a phone call back you are not signed up.
Basket pickups for elders only on November 14th from 12pm-3pm, and everyone else November 15th 12pm-3pm.

Come together for Domestic Violence Awareness Month on October 30, from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM, at the MIWRC (2300 15th Ave S, Minneapolis). We’ll have community resource tables, a warm meal of wild rice soup and fry bread, and free t-shirts.
