When in doubt, tie-dye everything!😜🌈

As children explore the idea of creativity, they will discover all the different ways people can express themselves. They will learn what art is, who creates it, how art makes them feel and what they can create. Art comes in many forms, including music, dance or sharing emotions. How does your child express their creativity?

In celebration of Independence Day, we hope everyone has a fantastic 4th!🎆

During center time, our students completed a fun STEAM project by using recycled egg cartons that resembles the look of baby turtles!🐢

We had a very special visit yesterday from the Fire Department! Our students were able to learn so much from Firefighter Sarah who taught them all about fire safety!🚒🔥

We FINALLY had the chance to experience our summers annual "Water Wednesday", plus our awesome FOMO machine! The kids' facial expressions definitely show how much fun they had yesterday! ☀️

Today we had a special visit from Snapology which offers STEAM learning programs, they had a ton of fun learning about engineering with robotic blocks!

Our students had a blast in the dramatic play area today while pretending to work in a science lab, and don't they look so adorable in those lab coats!👩‍🔬

Today was Goddard Zoo day! Our students had so much fun searching around the playground to find all of the different type of zoo animals, which gave them the opportunity to mimic the sounds of each one!🐻🦁

It's Ms. Millys one year anniversary here at the Goddard school of Minnetonka, and we are so appreciative of all of the love and support she shows to our team and students!

Last Friday we had our 2nd annual "Tee Time with Dad" event here at the school in celebration of Father's Day! Our students had such a blast while practicing their golf swings and hanging out with their dads! A HUGE thank you to all who attended!💙⛳

Due to the weather yesterday, we missed out on Water Wednesday! However, that didn't stop us from having fun with water sensory activities!💕☀️

We had an amazing visit from costume Kim this morning as spider man! The kids had such a blast, and we are so excited to have her back this coming fall!🤩💙

Yesterday we started off our summer with some delicious watermelon popsicles for snack time!🍉😎☀️

Last Friday our little Pre-K students in the Oak Trees classroom finally graduated!! We are all so incredibly proud of them and know that they are going to thrive in kindergarten in the coming fall! We also want to give the biggest THANK YOU to our families here at the Goddard school of Minnetonka for letting us care for and teach your children. Watching them grow and blossom has truly been a gift to us all! Hooray to new beginnings!

The Goddard School of Alexandria (Old Town), VA, is now open! Congratulations to owners Akhil and Madhu Govil. This is the fourth location for the co-owners, who also own The Goddard School of Ashburn, The Goddard School of Ashburn Leesburg, and The Goddard School of Waldorf.

As owners & grandparents, their goal is to continue to provide a foundation of learning to all the young children in Alexandria who are the beacon of the great future. They are excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving the Old Town Alexandria community.

In our Wonder of Learning (WOL) curriculum, our students were able to create a fun sensory experience today with the use of paint and tissue paper! This is such a great activity that not only encourages them to express their creativity, but it also helps them to express their emotions!💙
