💉 FCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleuk)

*This is a drive-through clinic! Pets must remain in cars. 🚗
*Do not carpool.
*Bring personal water for your pets.
*Ensure cats are in carriers.
*Do not bring your pet if they are sick; contact a vet immediately.

218 days ago, 4 month old Regina arrived at our shelter. She is 14 days away from turning 1 year old. ❤️‍🩹

Regina was previously adopted in December and made her way back into our care at no fault of her own. We are still looking for a loving home that will show Regina what love outside a kennel floor feels like.

She is 11 months old and has the same puppy eye stare since she first came in. Please help us find her family so she can enjoy her birthday outside of the shelter!

Evening Update: Thankfully, intake was not high this Friday. We are counting our blessings tonight. Our long-stay dogs are safe for the day but still are a high priority. Please contact us if you are interested in fostering them. We will continue to push for their outcomes in the days to come. 🙏🤍

Innocent lives will no longer be with us as soon as the end of the day if they are not saved.

The shelter has reached a tragic point, where length of stay dogs are now the first ones at risk. These 10 dogs have done NOTHING wrong. They simply have been onsite for the longest time, nearly a year.

Intake has not stopped and dogs continue to arrive, leaving a devastating blow on our capacity levels. Please help us save them. We will share all their information with you and help ensure a successful foster/adoptive outcome.

Okay, all my pet families out there! Christmas is now behind us and New Year is only a few days away, just a reminder that our beloved pets HATE fireworks, it scared them to death and they go crazy. Locally, I have already been hearing fireworks being discharged since Friday. (from the shallow end of the gene pool)

As our beloved furry family members can communicate with us, they can't as well with strangers, for example when they are lost, because they go bonkers when fireworks go off.

So, do both yourself and them a favor now that may save their life later. Get them microchipped. Now. Dont wait. Many of you are still on vacation and Christmas bread. RGVHS @ Mission as well as Palm Valley (PVAS) both microchips very inexpensively. But take it another step, go to Petco, PetSmart, whatever, and get current animal/dog tags made up with your contact info. If you can't get over there. before New Year's eve, make sure they have a collar on and write your info on a piece of duct tape and affix it to the collar. The more tagging and marking of the animal you do could make all the difference in a few days when the fireworks start going off.

Additionally, you can get Apple Air Tags or Tiles for Bluetooth connectivity to your loved ones. This technology is great.

And last, on New Year's eve, please consider just keeping your pets inside for a few hours when the fireworks are going off the most.

Take the time now. Protect your furbabies.
