🌹With Gratitude from our Outgoing President, Terry, D.
🌹As I reflect on the 2022-2024 biennium of my DKG experience, there is so much for which I’m grateful. Accepting the nomination for President of Epsilon Upsilon ranks as number one on my list. I admittedly gave the thought a moment of hesitation as I had already agreed to be the chair of a state committee - the 94th TSO State Convention. I could not have imagined how much chapter strength would hold me up as I moved forward in the two leadership roles.
🌹My chapter assured me it would support me, and I was not disappointed. A much-acknowledged outstanding state convention happened because of the support of Epsilon Upsilon. When asked to assist, each person answered in the affirmative with a smile and completed their responsibility triumphantly.
🌹Our chapter officers stepped up and performed their duties pleasantly, allowing us to have a successful biennium. What a blessing we have in our membership. Members faithfully attended monthly meetings and always filled a table with delicious bounty to enjoy as we fellowshipped. The chapter joined excursions, thus representing DKG to the public. Sisters also participated generously in fundraising so that we could fulfill the awarding of scholarships to future educators in our community.
🌹I’m passing on the presidency of Epsilon Upsilon to an exceptional woman, Anabel Guerra, and I look forward to serving in my next advisory role as past president. Our chapter’s future is bright, and under the guidance of the next executive board, it will grow, flourish, and exceed expectations in the next biennium.
🌹Terry D. | Chapter President, 2022-2024

Look at our fantastic sisterhood in attendance at this weekend's South Coastal Bend Regional Area Workshop in Alice, Texas. Epsilon Upsilon had 11 members in attendance. (We needed one more executive board member!)
•
Regional/Area workshops are excellent events to network, learn, and grow at the local levels of DKG. Experiencing the workshop also helps you learn about the Society's needs and opportunities to help develop institutional knowledge and engagement by presenting a session.
•
We are grateful for every member who could attend and missed those who could not come along. Next on our list is attending the state biennial conference in Denton, Texas, in June 2025.
