Logistic Systems, Inc. (LogiSYS) and RapidSOS Partnership
Missoula, MT, December 28, 2022 -- Logistic Systems, Inc (LogiSYS) and RapidSOS have partnered to provide a seamless interface between LogiSYS Big Sky Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and the RapidSOS intelligent safety platform. The interface provides telecommunicators with direct access to life-saving information for emergency service providers and first responders.
Big Sky CAD is a browser-based application that offers robust 911 computer-aided dispatching services and capabilities in an emergency call center. Designed to work in an on-premise server setup or in the cloud, Big Sky CAD keeps information accessible in a powerful, user-friendly interface. A modern, graphical user interface allows the user to focus on commonly used functions and features while also enhancing dynamic situational awareness. The layout can easily be configured for single or multiple displays and customized to an agency’s needs.
RapidSOS connects life-saving data from over 500 million devices, apps, and sensors to over 15,000 911 and first responder agencies, streamlining incident handling for 165 million emergencies annually. Additionally, this partner relationship recognizes the Big Sky CAD solution as being RapidSOS Ready, a designation reserved for agencies, vendors, or other companies sending or receiving enhanced emergency data through the RapidSOS platform.
“LogiSYS is very excited about our partnership with RapidSOS. Their dynamic platform delivers critical, life-saving data to emergency communications centers and provides situational awareness for telecommunicators when dispatching calls for service on Big Sky CAD,” said Srini Mondava, President of Logic Systems, Inc.” We have provided and sustained many critical public safety solutions for over 30 years, and this integration is a game changer. As a trusted developer of software solutions and working with law enforcement, fire and EMS, our goal is to provide a more responsive and effective decision-making process for dispatchers.”

Mondays are better with baby bison!
It’s the best time of year! The first baby bison of spring was recently spotted at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota. Calves are orange-red in color, earning them the nickname “red dogs.” They can walk within 3 hours of birth, and before long, nursery groups of calves will romp around together, never far from their mothers’ watchful eyes. After the proposal was released in October, modest fee increases have been made official. We want to thank the National Park Service for everything they do to make visits safe and enjoyable.
In response to public comments on a fee proposal released in October 2017, the National Park Service announces a modest increase in entrance fees at 117 national parks. The revenue from the entrance fees will help improve the visitor experience and address aging park infrastructure—with 80 percent of the money staying in the park where it is collected. More than two-thirds of national parks will remain free to enter. Learn more about the increase and your fee dollars at work at https://www.nps.gov/aboutus/news/hot-topics.htm
