REMINDER: Gang Awareness & Prevention Town Hall Meeting for Parents happening tonight. Come to Dayspring Baptist Church, 2200 Cody Road South. Hosted by the MPD-Gulf Coast Technology Center, the town hall is from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.

Our community comes together to offer support for victims of domestic violence. The Power of Purple Together Domestic Violence Awareness Fair is this Saturday from 10A-Noon at the Seals Community Center. Attend to help raise awareness.
Mobile’s law enforcement officers are stepping up to help protect young people from gangs. The MPD - Gulf Coast Technology Center is holding two gang awareness and prevention town hall meetings for parents in November. Attend to learn about gang identifiers, influences, Alabama’s new gang law, and attainable solutions for our community.

This past week our MPD / OSI (Office Of Strategic Initiatives) team did an amazing job supporting our local Schools.
>>FIT Specialist Ronwick Thomas builded a new irrigation garden for Holloway Elementary School.
>>FIT Specialist Jennifer King and Victim Advocate Stacey Woodyard were present at BC Rain High School at the Open House event supporting the school and letting the students know about our FIT & VIC programs and services.
>>Victim Advocate Stacey Woodyard and FIT Specialist Jennifer King were also present at the Parenting and Open House event at Williamson High School engaging and presenting our FIT and Victim Services programs to the parents and students. Huge thanks to Principal George and Counselor at Williamson High School for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to support and impact our community.
