Today was so much fun!!!! Look at these amazing bead and button creations! What an amazing group! This was the best, most relaxing Sunday afternoon I have had this year! I’m thinking of having something like this a couple of Sundays a month! Self Love Sundays maybe?

This class is becoming a reality! This display will be up at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts soon. But YOU, Instagram and/or Facebook followers of Scatter Some Kindness and/or Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, will be the first to know and I will give you a 2-day head start to secure your registration BEFORE this display goes to the art center. This workshop will be Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00. This will be my only workshop that day so you will not be rushed and can take your time. The price will be 25.00. Go ahead and take a look at your calendar and get your friends lined up! You may bring in snacks and drinks if you would like. It’s a really fun project! I’ll post the link to register as soon as it’s available.

SOUPer Bowl Saturday

We’re bringing back our SOUPer 😎popular SOUPer Bowl 🥣 event!!
Just in time for the Super Bowl - you’ll have some great food and serving bowls!
Rebecca and her students and other potters here (Linda Russell, Kim Roberson and others) are making dozens of bowls for you to choose from - different styles and sizes and colors.

We ask for a minimum donation of $18 per bowl. This includes a to-go container of chili or soup of your choice and a dessert (made by volunteers) until we run out!

Special this year! A limited number of Bowl cozies will be available, too. These were donated to us by Katie Lyons and will be available on SOUPer Bowl Saturday for a minimum donation of $5 each.

This is a fundraiser to support MWCA’s various programs. As a non-profit community arts center, we deeply appreciate how much you love our work and mission.

Drop-in and see what we're up to! No pre-registration required and workshops are open to all ages. Little may need help from their grown-up.

Handbuilt bowls with Rebecca. Drop-in at 11, 12, 1, 2 or 3:00 -- $20 per bowl. Your bowl will be ready in two weeks.

Beaded bracelets with Julie: 10am, noon, 2pm or 4 pm - pre-registration recommended
Make a set of three bracelets: "linked chain" or plain beaded strand bracelets -- your choice of style or mix it up and make a combo set. Hundreds of beads and variations to choose from! $30 per set of three. Please pre-register as we are limited in the number of students per class. Walk-in's are welcome IF there is room. I just dropped off these cute multicolored heart necklaces just in time for Valentine’s Day at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts. It was hard to get a good picture but both the heart and the chain are multicolored. 12.00 each. There are only 4. Go get them!
