We cannot thank the community enough for the donations that have been dropped off here at Faith Monroe for Hurricane Relief. If you dropped off clothes, our sorters found a set of car keys with a Ford key fob on it. If you would like these back, contact our church office. Thank you.
Hey Folks! Below is a list of item desperately needed as Tyler Patrick spoke about this morning.
If you would like to send things needed, you can drop them off at Faith Baptist Church at 1789 Hwy 11 Monroe Ga from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM today (10/6) through Tuesday (10/8). You are unable to make it to the church between those times, please, PM Kassidi or Tyler Patrick and we can set something else up!
Things needed:
-charcoal
-lighter fluid
-lighters
-baby diapers
-wipes (baby and adult for wiping off)
-baby bottles
-baby formula URGENT NEED
-mother baby supplies (bottles, pacifiers, gas medicine, teething medicine, baby Tylenol, teething toys, baby blankets, etc) URGENT NEEDS
-canned (with pull tabs or send a can opener of you can’t get pull tabs) and non-perishable foods
-blankets
-clothes (including socks,underwear, jackets, gloves, thermals, anything to keep warm, etc)
- baby and kids clothes URGENT NEED
-medicines (Tylenol, chewable Benadryl, etc)
-flashlights URGENT NEED
-batteries URGENT NEED
-first aid kits
-disposable eating supplies (plates, utensils)
-paper towels/napkins
-toilet paper
-hand sanitizer
-disinfectant wipes
-feminine products
-hygiene products
-trash bags
-hand & foot warmers
-tents
-pet food
-PPE equipment
-gloves (for clean up)
-sleeping bags
-rubber boots
-bug spray
-coolers (styrofoam is perfectly fine) URGENT NEED
-manual breast pumps URGENT NEED

Way to go, Faith! We are flying closer to our goal. ✈️
This week's mission project is partnering with Uniting Hope to show love and support for the foster care community. Uniting Hope's mission is to find safe and loving homes for foster children. They also offer additional support and encouragement to the children in their care and the families looking after them. The funds raised this week will go towards a special Family Night.

We also want to recognize this incredible Lighthouse that was built. Pastor Clint was a man that had big visions and a love for getting our community involved here at Faith.
In preparation for VBS a 6ft lighthouse was needed…
Well……..Pastor Clint said a 12ft lighthouse would do, those who knew Clint knew he brought big visions to life and to our community at Faith so a 12ft lighthouse was fitting. 😆
So here we have a 12ft lighthouse on Breaker Rock beach in Memory of Pastor Clint Sullens who had a big vision for Gods Truth to shine bright for VBS. 💡
