Your Achilles tendon bears a lot of stress and pressure during everyday activities, as well as during athletic and recreational play.

: Meet Heather, Senior Executive Assistant of Quality Management & Performance Excellence. Heather has been with PIH Health for 17 years. She started as a Registration Clerk in the Emergency Department (ED), advanced to ED Patient Care Clerk, and then helped develop and transitioned into the role of Stroke Data Specialist for Quality Programs. Since starting in her current role in 2020, Heather has supported the Vice President of Quality and Quality Management teams across the enterprise.
Her unique role involves collaborating with all departments to enhance patient safety and outcomes. "I am proud to work at PIH Health because of the high quality of care our staff provide to members of our community," she says. Passionate about healthcare's dynamic nature, she values the continuous learning it offers and cherishes the supportive, family-like culture. “I love working in healthcare because whether it be related to frontline patient care or behind the scenes, I feel there is something new to learn about healthcare every single day.”
