It's a great day to setup your fall decorations! We have the wagon full of all kinds of fun and funky pumpkins and tasty home-grown squash. We have corn stalk bundles too! Stop by the farm and pick out your favorites!

Pumpkins range $5 - $7 each, depending on size.
Small, white ornamental pumpkins = $1 each
Ginormous pumpkins = $15 each
Squash (assorted varieties) = $3 each
Corn stalk bundles = $5 per bundle

And 👀 those amazing cedar planters made by some of our Holker family members! Send us a message if you would like some made for you. $35 each or 2/$65.

The Holker sweet corn stand is officially closed for the season! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped out and supported these kids and the farm. We couldn't do this without our awesome customers and your support, encouragement and generosity!

UPDATE: We're dropping to $4/dozen today!! Everything must go!

It's the LAST DAY of the sweet corn season for the Holker kids and they decided to embrace the heat by going Hawaiian!! 🏝🌞🔥😎 They are selling their fresh-picked sweet corn today from 9am-6pm (or until we run out). Stop by and say, "Aloha!"

We're just days away from wrapping up our sweet corn season, and the kids are so excited to get to sleep in before school starts up again 😁 They wake up early every morning and head out to the corn patch for this fresh-picked sweet corn grown right here at the farm! They'll be selling today & tomorrow (Sunday & Monday) from 9am-6pm, and probably a bit into Tuesday! Stop by and pick some up for $6/dozen. 5764 County Rd 37 NE, Monticello.

We also have a few other items for sale including some fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers (until sold out) and these awesome cedar planters and bird house!

Due to the storms, we are closing up early today. As of now, there are about 10 dozen left on the table. We will open again tomorrow at 9am. Thanks to everyone who stopped out today. You kept as busy and we really appreciate it!!

Check this out! The kids just got back from checking the corn patch and brought these 3 ears back and said it's all looking good to re-open the corn stand tomorrow! They'll be out there selling starting at 9am until 6pm daily. Hope to see you there!

We're still waiting on the sweet corn to ripen up. Unfortunately, the lack of rain slows down the process. We'll check again this evening and let you know if it's ready for tomorrow!

We quickly picked and sold through our first 2 plantings...thank you all for being such great customers! Our next planting needs a couple days to ripen up some more. We have a small amount of sweet corn to sell this morning, then we'll be closed until Wednesday or Thursday. We'll be sure to post again when the corn is ready! We're so grateful to all of you for supporting our efforts!

This Holker kid is (im)patiently waiting for sweet corn season! In the meantime, she's helping Mom & Dad get ahead on canning green beans before the sweet corn madness begins. The lack of rain is slowing things down a bit but the corn is looking good and we're estimating about 2.5 weeks out. We'll keep you updated on our progress!

And we thank you all for sticking with us through these droughts!

The scene at the house the past few mornings after the kids finish the morning sweet corn pick. Muddy boots and soaking wet gloves. But smiling faces ready for a good corn camp breakfast before they head to the corn stand!

We expect the sweet corn will be ready to sell again on Monday, Aug 8, starting at 9am. We will post an update if that changes. Thank you for your patience while we work through this drought and the high demand for sweet corn that we're seeing this year!

We are CLOSED today. We're astonished that in just 2 days, we completely sold out of our second crop of sweet corn. Now we need to give the third crop a day or two to ripen. The rain today should help a lot! 🙌

But don't worry, we have several more rounds of sweet corn coming up so we'll have lots of corn ready soon! Please continue to check our page for updates! Thanks!

Welp, we are still patiently waiting for the next crop of sweet corn to ripen up. Must be on a different time schedule than us 🤔 We'll be sure to let you know when it's ready!

On the plus side, it gave us time to harvest the wheat and bale the straw. The kids even got to get out and help load some bales!
