We’re grateful for this early morning sun. The summer solstice is near and things are beginning to heat up. Week 3 of our summer CSA is in the books, and we’re excited to share the fruits of our labor.

The struggles of a wetter than normal spring taught us a few things we need to improve. 8 of our 24 beds were a complete loss, which set us back on our overall harvest plan and even required us to remove crops completely from our 2024 offerings. Through times of financial loss of a business it’s paramount to step back and learn. The price of learning can’t always be found in a class, book, Google, or YouTube. Learning in tangible ways through your specific life circumstances allows you the freedom and perspective to count your blessings. Thanks to for keeping things protected in the hoop house!

We have upgraded our compost bins for a more efficient, controlled, and linear processing of materials! Gone with the “throw it in the pile” method and in comes the multi-bin pallet method. Let’s see how it does!
