Congratulations to MCC’s own, Nate Deziel, on winning the 2024 MGA Amateur Championship at Minnesota Valley Country Club! He shot 11 under over the course of three rounds (66-70-72). Deziel’s first round score of 66 broke the course record.

This win secures him a spot in the United States Amateur Championship at Hazeltine, August 12-18.

MCC is proud of you Nate!

Minnesota's Nate Deziel earns spot into U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine Nate Deziel, a North Dakota State University graduate from Moorhead, Minnesota, surged past the pack, which, at one time, consisted of a five-way tie for the lead.

MCC's own, Nate Deziel is the Minnesota Amateur Champion! Up next... the US Amateur Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Course.

Please join us in congratulating Isabelle Lynch on winning the 2024 Red River Amateur Women’s Championship!

Isabelle started the final round two shots back of the lead. With the help of two birdies on hole 2 and 4, she grabbed a share of the lead and never looked back. Isabelle shot an even par 72 to win the tournament by 6 strokes! Isabelle shot 75-74-72 on her way to the championship.

Please join us in congratulating Ben Welle on winning the 2024 Red River Amateur Championship!

Ben shot a 67 in round 1 which gave him a share of the lead heading into the second day. Round 2 he shot another smooth 67 and closed out the weekend with a 69. Ben won the tournament by 4 strokes! Ben was so fun to watch, especially during the final round when he holed out from 90 yards on hole 11!

It is the final round of the Red River Am Championship presented by Bell Bank! The Alley is full of burgers & brats, beers, mixies, good times, and lots of golf. It is the perfect place to spend your Sunday!
