UHS students chosen to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thanksgiving may not be for another month, but a few Morgantown area students are getting ready to perform in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

BIG WEEK this week! It’s MoHawk Bowl time. Friday night under the lights at MHS, we will be participating in our annual stuffed animal collection for WVU Children’s Hospital! This is our third year for this collaborative event between UHS and MHS. There will be collection boxes at the ticket gates Friday night. Donations can also be made at the back office at UHS. Please consider to make a donation. Remember all stuffed animals must be NEW WITH TAGS. Cash donations will also be accepted.

Please share with family and friends that will be in attendance. We can't wait to see you Friday with you stuffed animals in hand!

The MOHAWK BOWL is next week, and while we will be competing on the field, we can do more for those in need by working together. UHS and MHS student councils have teamed up to raise money for the hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina. You can donate by visiting School Cash Online, using the QR codes below, or with cash at the entrance to the football game on Friday, November 1st. The school with the most donations will earn bragging rights, but we all win when helping others!

JV SEASON RECAP

Congratulations to our JV team as they wrapped up their season with a record of 23-4.

We are proud of these girls and how hard they played. Way to go Girls!

It’s Game Day! Let’s Go Hawks!

The Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams swept the Region 1 Championships bringing home 2 first place titles and moving on to States!

The girls team had 5 finishers in the top 20: Abby Rogers (2nd), Claire Von Boetticher (5th), Lia Biundo (9th), Caroline Ballard (10th), and Izzy West (18th).

The boys team also had 5 finishers in top 20: Tyler Umbright (1st), Micah Gainer (2nd), Ethan Conroy (3rd), Logan Conroy (8th), and Will DeVault (16th).

Congratulations to the Hawks Boys Soccer Team for advancing to Regionals!
