**Where it all started**

This is me getting my hair cut into a PIXIE from my UNTRAINED mother in our kitchen. Holy s**t we were brave.
__

My mom was the ultimate DIYer. She didn't go to a professional for much of anything. Cut, hair color, manicures, landscaping..she built a kitchen island out of left over cabinets and table parts.

She got me excited about creating. And she nourished the idea of expressing yourself. I can't say she gave me good haircuts, but what she did give me was the passion for creation. Good, bad, it didn't matter. What mattered was that you had fun doing it. And we always did.

I have tried SO many texture sprays. Most are too sticky or just don't do much of anything. This gives the perfect amount of grittiness without making the hair too sticky.

Perfect for after curling or blowing out the hair for extra volume and texture. It's also amazing for second (or third 😉) day hair.

This is my client and it's the FIRST TIME she has colored her hair! I love when clients are brave! This was NOT a quick easy appointment. We hung out together for a while. (We're bffs now)

I have loved wigs since I was a kid. When I was a teenager I wanted a wig for every day of the week..

So, naturally I would find myself wanting to do some wig work! I have cut, styled, and even spliced two wigs together. In cosmetology school I even made a wig from scratch! But I've NEVER colored a wig.

This is a wig my client purchased online and the color was not quite what she was expecting. She trusted me to add some balayage and darken the base color! This was a really fun project and hope to do more! Stay tuned for the finished result!
