Delivering some great surprises today to WakeMed. Thank you to everyone who has sent in donations the past few weeks! Special thanks to the YGUIDES Crews for your Spring projects with so much care and creativity!

100 Cards for Gwen - Gwen is a high school Junior, tough lacrosse player and friend to many. She is fighting a serious battle against cancer and we are collecting 100 cards of encouragement and comfort items to mail to her over the next few weeks of her treatment. If you can contribute, even one card is appreciated! Hugs to all we love today.

These handmade stuffed animals are truly a one-of-a-kind act of love. Can’t wait to take these to children at WakeMed! I’m so thankful for all the donations that continue to come in even during these difficult times.

We are back in action sorting donations! Thank you to the YMCA of the Triangle Y Guides for the Tribe donations and cards. We are delivering items of comfort to our local hospitals and every donation makes a difference! Most needed right now are new stuffed animals, Magic Markers, UNO cards and gel pens. Hug someone you love today - even if you have to wear a mask! :)

Hooray! We were able to make a donation delivery to WakeMed today and everyone there was so nice and excited to get the contributions! It was really fun to see where they store all the beautiful blankets and donations as well. Just seeing all that gives me hope that we are coming out of this difficult year for sure! Kindness still matters.

If you are interested in contributing items - the ones that are most needed right now are Uno cards, coloring books and markers, reading glasses, large print magazines, hygiene items, phone chargers, non-English magazines (3 months old or less) and non english books. Thanks for considering!

We are accepting new donations! New stuffed animals, UNO cards, markers and gel pens are always appreciated. Also new toys are excepted for a Christmas event through November 20. Thanks for considering and stay well!.

We have to put a hold on all donations temporarily due to the COVID 19 situation. Prayers this will pass sooner versus later and we can start hospital visits again. Stay well everyone!

So many sick kids in our local hospitals! Today I was able to share items of comfort thanks to some great donations from many kind people in our community. I also took a picture today of this poem on the wall in the hallway at Duke.I read this many times when our daughter was at Duke Children's Hospital. I see it every time I visit for The Comfort Project. I love it! Don't forget - Hug someone you love today. Every day is a gift.

Is it weird I’m so excited we have new stuffed animal bins and some amazing donations for Duke Children’s Hospital? We had some great deliveries this week. We always need items for the Teen cart, baby rattles, ear buds and gel pens if anyone feels like sharing the love to The Comfort Project! Hug someone you love today, every day is a gift.

Today we delivered many great donations from kids and kind people from all over the Triangle! Handmade blankets, books, stuffed animals, Uno cards, parent comfort kits and more. I met a family waiting for their child to have brain surgery today in the hospital. It reminded me of our scary time many years ago and literally brought tears to my eyes. Praying today for that family And all the moms and dads out there who worry about their kid’s health!

A great delivery to Duke Childrens hospital thanks to many wonderful donations. My cart looked a little bit like the Beverly Hillbillies minus the rocking chair and Granny! So many sweet messages in some of the donations from some kind hearted Y GUIDES! Hugs to all we love today

Spreading joy for children in at our locals hospitals. Thanks to many great donations we could help stock the Teen Carts at Duke Children's as well as replenish the Book Nook and stuffed animal bins. Hugs to all we love today!

The Raleigh Baptist Association Girls Basketball League had a great event to put together donations and create bookmarks and cards of encouragement! Thank you ladies- your efforts make a difference!

We delivered some awesome donations of stuffed animals, UNO cards, blankets, books and more to Duke Children's hospital on Friday. A special thanks to the NCACPA for their recent event collection to help children in our local hospitals!

If your kids are bored - have them clean out their books they no longer need and donate to The Comfort Project. We need used kids books. Also adding a handmade bookmark makes it extra special! Or if you are shopping on Amazon - this is a new young adult favorite book we are collecting for kids in the hospital. Its a good read! Kati Gardner

Hey Triangle peeps and friends of peeps! We are doing a delivery to Duke Children’s hospital in the near future and are very short on supplies! Any used children’s books or gently loved stuffed animals with the tags still on them, clean, would be appreciated. Our drop off site is Milner Inc. right near the RDu airport. Thanks for considering and every donation can help make a sick child in the hospital feel better!

Our annual tradition - Delivering some Christmas cheer to Duke Childrens Hospital. It always reminds me of the Christmas Eve we spent with Mary Jordan in the hospital many years ago. So grateful for all the kindness received and shared - then and now.
