We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has donated, volunteered and aided our mission to feed the people of the Lakes Region.
The Lakes Region Food Pantry And Thrift Shop is a non-profit organization that opened December 17th, 2012, serving individuals and families across the entire Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Our programming includes bi-weekly food assistance, monthly fresh food vouchers, a sneaker program for children, a summer lunch program for children, cooking classes, a scholarship program and more.

The thrift shop will be open for regular hours 10-2 on Saturday, July 6th.
We are extremely grateful for the grant we recently received from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund. This grant will help support our mission of helping ease food insecurity in the lakes region of NH, in particular with our voucher program. This program supports over 400 families each month allowing them to shop at area grocery stores for fresh meats and produce.
Lakes Region Food Pantry received a grant from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund for its voucher program. The Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund makes grants to tax-exempt organizations without regard to religious affiliation for projects that help people in New Hampshire meet their basic needs. The Fund is operated by volunteer lay men and women who serve as Directors and who make recommendations to the Bishop of Manchester for grants to any organization in New Hampshire whose mission is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Fund raises money through solicitation of individuals, businesses, and philanthropic organizations.
We want say thank you to the We Care program through the Temple B’Nai Israel for all their hard work and dedication in making David Clark’s All About Joel concert such a great success.
The thrift shop will be closed Saturday, May 25th of Memorial Day weekend.
